Monka made Sammy a journal pillow for Happy Thoughts. When Sammy got it, she came in the front room and said, "Jody, you have GOT to come and see this!" She loves her pillow and has already entered some happy thoughts. Thank you Sweet Monka!

The Brandow Family Kitchen
Heaven bless my darling husband who is so talented and wonderful. He has been working diligently for months to completely overhaul our kitchen. He refinished the cabinets and put bead board up on the walls. It has been quite a labor. Tonight he finished putting bead board on the last wall in the kitchen. Beautiful moment! Thanks, Baby!

Easter Sunday
What a beautiful day. It was my first Easter Sunday actually making the entire meal... and I did it!! The miracle -- it was good. I have been cooking for years, but this tasting good business is new to me. I made a roast, carrots, potatoes, strawberry shortcake (cake from scratch -- real whipped cream)! I know! I am amazed myself. It was a wonderful evening.

Easter at Ma'am-ah's
We love Ma'am-ah! She had a special Easter Egg hunt for our kids and incorporated their spelling words, shapes, letters, etc. to help them have fun and learn at the same time. The kids got to color eggs, found their own special Easter baskets and filled them to overflowing with eggs and candy. Thank you, Ma'am-ah and Mony.

Early Easter Celebrations
We had our kids the weekend before Easter so we moved our celebrations. The weather wasn't very nice so we had our Easter Egg Hunt indoors. I hid the eggs while Lance kept the kids occupied playing games. We also bought each of them a little bunny they could put candy in and hid them individually.

Ma'am-ah, Grampie and Mony came over to join in the fun and decorated foam eggs with us. Quite the creative experience... everyone should try it!

Snuggling
Who knew when I bought the hide-away couch several years ago that it would be used at least every other weekend for snuggling with four adorable kids to "yatch a movie" as my little girl Rebekah would say. These are favorite times.
